During the locked down portion of the covid-19 pandemic, I started listing to historical documentary audio about Colorado. One of the pieces was about an old ranch near Dillon, CO - an immigrant's story of how his family and neighbors used the Homestead Act to raise crops and animals in the mountains. When thinking about what the land and area is like today, I realized it might be cool to use video to overlay the historical audio on modern day imagery of the same ranch.
